General Information
Feeding as a topper: Feed ¼ cup for every 25lbs
Fresh water should be available at all times. Optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, breed, and activity level. Please use the feeding guidelines as an initial recommendation and adjust food amount as needed to reach desired weight goal.
Puppies may need up to twice the amount of food as listed for an adult dog. For pregnant and nursing dogs, please check with your veterinarian as requirements vary depending on the number of puppies and stage of lactation. Fresh water should be available at all times. As with any new food, take time to transition to Zignature® Freeze-Dried by slowly adding it to your pet’s diet over 6-10 days by increasing Zignature® while simultaneously decreasing your pets previous food.
We recommend rehydrating Zignature® Freeze-Dried for optimum digestibility.
To rehydrate, add 1/2 cup of cool or warm water per 1 cup of Zignature® Freeze-Dried.
Let the water absorb into the food for about 5 minutes.
Care should be taken when storing and handling all food products and Zignature® Freeze-Dried is no different. Store in a cool, dry location in sealed bags. Use warm soapy water to clean hands, bowls, utensils, and counter tops. Discard any remaining rehydrated food after two hours.
